What does FX Data?
FX Data offers full-service data protection as required by the GDPR. We advise small and medium-sized companies, train employees and provide the external data protection officer as well as the EU data protection representative.
FX DATA’s consulting is characterized by a high level of understanding of the specific technical and economic requirements. In-depth technical knowledge is combined with fully-fledged legal knowledge.
FX DATA is specialized in dealing with any questions and requirements that arise and can arise in connection with data protection or data security. This is especially the case when data processing is directly linked to the value chain in online companies. For example, when online tracking and conversion are affected.
Who are we?
Christos Paloubis
Christos Paloubis, born in 1970, studied law in Munich and Rome. He completed his legal clerkship in Munich and New York. He was admitted to the German bar in 2000.
Already during his studies his focus was on the then new medium internet and the related legal issues, such as internet law, copyright law as well as the extremely important topic of data protection.
He is additionally active as a lawyer, as a lecturer at SDI Munich (www.sdi-muenchen.de) for Internet Law and runs the blog Internetrecht München (www.internetrecht-muenchen.com).
Felix Gebhard
Lawyer and certified data protection officer (DSB-TÜV SÜD)
Felix Gebhard, born in 1982, studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and the Universidad de León in Spain. He completed his legal clerkship in Munich and Washington, D.C..He was admitted to the German Bar in 2013.
The focus of his studies was on competition law, intellectual property and media law. During his legal clerkship, he dealt with issues of online law as well as intellectual property law. In addition, he gained insights into US-American law.
He has been a certified data protection officer (DSB-TÜV SÜD) since October 2017.
He regularly teaches and lectures about data protection. As part of his work as a data protection officer, he also provides training courses so that each individual employee in the company can understand how to handle personal data. These training sessions enable him to convey the often rather “dry” content to each individual in the company in a practical and lively manner.
Felix Gebhard also works as a lawyer.
